Texas Tales

Texas was an amazing trip. Sad we didn't come away with the win but still proud of our Cougars. Below are some shots of Texas.
Their practice facility
The Capital Building
These cows were everywhere downtown
Another cow
Got Milk?
Wealthy Austin banker, Mr. Bremond, built this home in 1874. These homes were right in the middle of downtown
This is another home Mr. Bremond built for his family. He was very good to many members of his clan. The homes were very cool. This one is supposed to be haunted.
Headbutting the cow
The pictures don't represent how good the artists were.
Cow, Cows everywhere
Driving up to the stadium for the first time
Side view where you can see the upper tier
Another corner of the stadium
The campus was beautiful
I don't know if tailgating can be topped from Ole' Miss but they definitely do it big in Texas too. They pull in their grills on trailers
Big time grill masters
The 98 degree heat didn't stop this guy from cookin'
These guys played high school football in the 50's together. Very nice and love to talk football
These blow up longhorns were everywhere
I don't know if we will see many wind chimes like this one here at our tailgaters
Boats at the tailgater?
Posing with the longhorn
Why settle for just boats when you can have golf carts too
This is not a blow up longhorn
Got your boat, your golf cart, your grill on wheels, now you just need your trailer to make your tailgating experience complete
Those chaps that they are wearing are very misleading. There is a lot less fabric than you think
Big Texas fan I think
Waiting in line to get our tickets
Loved the big screen
Scanning the stadium
This is the end of the stadium. The upper tier was the last part added. Some woman with a lot of pull did not want her view of the capital building blocked. Interestingly enough, the upper deck was started right after she retired.
Matt Edwards on the field
Matt Marshall
Braden Brown
Brandon Ogletree
More of their cheer squad
Jadon Wagner
Mike Muehlmann
Jimmer
Mike Hague
Reed Hornung?
Marcus Mathews
Preston Hadley
Cosmo and boys
Richard Wilson and JJ Di Luigi
Austen Jorgensen
It was too hot to sit out in the stadium before the game so many cooled off-a little- under the stadium seats.
