Garrett & Mitchell Juergens and Their Family Spotlight

This summer was a special summer for our family. After multiple mission overlaps, this was the first time in 6 years that we were all together as a family. Our last of 5 children just returned from his mission last month and will be heading up to BYU for his first semester this Fall. He is so excited to watch BYU Football and to see his twin brothers live their dream of playing football for BYU.

Every member of our family was born and raised in Texas. My wife and I met in high school and were married after I returned from my mission to Japan. All of our children served missions. We truly do miss not having a full time missionary in the field. We cherished the inspiring letters that we received from them each week.

We love sports and have spent a significant part of our life in gyms, bleachers and stands watching our kids play their various sports. I spent my years as a young father coaching our boys in football, basketball, and baseball. My wife was and is their biggest supporter. While I spent time coaching our boys, my wife was with our daughter at dance. Our boys love their sister and spent many hours at dance competitions supporting her.

All of our children have attended and will graduate from BYU. We are all die hard Cougar Fans from Texas. Three of our children are married and we have 2 grandchildren.

We can’t wait for September. We will be traveling to each game and supporting the entire BYU Football Team.
