Robbie started playing football in the 4th grade where his Dad was lucky enough to coach him until 7th grade when the Jr. High took over. He has always loved football but excelled at many sports.

Many people do not know that Robbie was a 2 time State Champion in the 400 m. and in 10th grade won state in the 800 m. His senior year he was the State of AR Decathlon Champion. Something that might surprise people is that Robbie is pretty good with computers.

Robbie served his mission in the Mozamquie, Maputo Mission during the 2007 & 2008 seasons. He spoke the Portuguese language. Robbie is a twin; he has a twin sister named Meagan. Jacob is Rob’s little brother and he is 16 years old. Robbie is the son of very proud parents Paul and Marne Buckner and is a very proud Uncle to Elise.
